Bethany Moravian Church Celebrates 163 Years of Faithful Service in Tasba Pauni, Nicaragua

For 163 years, Bethany Moravian Church has faithfully served the community of Tasba Pauni on Nicaragua's Caribbean Coast, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and nurturing generations of believers.

Throughout its long history, the Moravian Church has played a remarkable role in spreading the Christian faith across the region. For more than a century, it has remained one of the strongest evangelical influences on the Caribbean Coast, reaching communities with the message of Christ and establishing a lasting spiritual legacy.

Tasba Pauni is a small but vibrant community where the Miskito and Creole peoples have lived for generations. In more recent years, Mestizo families have also become part of the community, creating a rich cultural and linguistic diversity. Through all these changes, Bethany Moravian Church has remained a spiritual home, faithfully proclaiming God's Word and serving the people with dedication.

It is often said that many of the community's elders grew up in the Moravian Church and continue to be active members today. What is especially encouraging, however, is the number of young people who are also part of the congregation.
