Don't Allow It.
Ephesians 4:26–27 (NLT)
“And ‘don’t sin by letting anger control you.’ Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.”

Although anger itself is not sin, the problem begins the moment we allow this natural and understandable emotion to get out of our control.

The apostle Paul teaches us that:
• We sin the moment anger takes control of us.
• When anger rules our hearts, we not only lose control of our own lives, but we also give the devil a foothold—an opportunity to influence, tempt, and disrupt our walk with God. What begins as uncontrolled anger can become an open door through which the enemy works to produce bitterness, hatred, division, and other destructive sins.

The solution lies in choosing not to entertain the root that caused our anger. We must be willing to forgive—and most importantly, to forgive as soon as the offense occurs—so that the devil will have no foothold in our lives.
Do not allow anger to be lingering in you because of resentment. Forgive the offender. Walk in God's love, and experience the joy of living in true freedom.

Freedom from hurt, bitterness, grudges, and the desire for revenge. Freedom from the devil's influence and all the bondages that anger brings.
So, take a deep breath. Allow the peace of God to flow through you, and let it go; "...for anger gives a foothold to the devil."
